I have basic understanding of music theory and I can read basic sheet music.

Thanks in advance!

You should look into using Soft Mozart.

It is software for the piano/keyboard that connects to your computer via a midi cable. The software is world reknowned and originated in Germany. Fun games are used to familiarize students with note placement, repetition, etc. They use classical pieces when you have advanced to the intermediate level. I use this software myself.

They also have demos you can download so you can "try before you buy". There are introductions to their methodology on Youtube and you can also hear students play who have used the software.
